Rose Pedone plays the Oracle in our film. There’s a rumor she was cast due to her awesome NYC driving skills – and the fact that she believes she knows everything. It’s a nice quality to have in an Oracle.

Rose can be seen in television pilot, BREAKING THE NEWS and on an episode of Nickelodeon’s interstitial, OTHER MOTHERED. Baseball fans might recognize Rose as the Blizzard Water secretary & Mrs. Claus from recent WB Mason commercials.

Rose’s theatrical credits include Dot in SUNDAY IN THE PARK  WITH GEORGE, Rhetta in PUMP BOYS AND DINETTES, and Woman #2 in SIDE BY SIDE BY SONDHEIM at NJ’s Forum Theatre.

Rose’s writing credits include a musical adaptation of Hans Christian Anderson’s stories, called THUMBELINA & OTHER TALL TALES, which was produced at the Forum Theatre, and NY’s Queen’s Theatre. This past year, Rose wrote all original stories, songs, and games for an enrichment program for children in Vietnam. She performed in and co-wrote the original book, music, and lyrics to Panic at the Pole, which was part of The AGR Short Film Challenge.

Rose is beyond thrilled – and so  deeply honored – to be working with Renée Stork on this film. She feels so lucky to get to work with Renee and this astonishingly wonderful cast and crew.

When I was a kid, I had no idea what I wanted to be when I grew up.  Reading stories, watching stories and telling stories were always what I woke up thinking about.  Back then, I had no idea how this passion  would influence  me.

Opportunities at The Actor's Green Room in New York City allowed me to foster this passion. I've met new friends who truly nurture me as a storyteller.  Uber Oracle is my fifth short film for the AGRtist Monthly Short Film Challenge and second film being directed by Renée Stork.  Her vision and ability to touch us all is impossible to stay away from.  I couldn't be more excited to be part of a team with such talent and same-mindedness.
